A contract on the construction of 36 apartments in Pancevo was signed

The contract for the construction of 36 housing units in Pancevo was signed by the acting Director of the Public Sector Project Management Unit d.o.o. Belgrade Dušan Kovačević and Vukajlo Babić on behalf of the Group of Bidders Inobačka doo Novi Sad and "NS Inženjering" d.o.o. Novi Sad.

 The construction of apartments in Pancevo is part of the Subproject 9 of the Regional Housing Program, and the apartments are intended for refugee families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia with residence on the territory of the City of Pancevo.

 The value of the contracted works on the construction of 36 housing units is around 1,507,271 euros with VAT. The beginning of works on the construction of housing units is expected in April this year. The deadline for completion of construction is 320 days.

 Within the Regional Housing Program, another 48 apartments were built in Pancevo, and the residents are planned to move in these apartments by the end of the year.

 The goal of the Regional Housing Program is permanent housing for the most endangered refugee families from the former Yugoslavia.

The regional housing program is implemented with the support of the OSCE, UNHCR and the Council of Europe Development Bank, and is funded by the European Union, which is also the largest donor, the United States, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Turkey, Luxembourg, Spain, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

The Program in the Republic of Serbia is managed by the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration in cooperation with the Public Sector Project Management Unit as the implementation unit of the Program.
