Beneficiaries from Asylum Centre Obrenovac participated in the 36th Belgrade Marathon
24.04.2023.On the occasion of the 36th Belgrade Marathon, Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia together with UNHCR and CRPC organized participation of Asylum Seekers in a 21 km relay half-marathon.
Five participants from Burundi who reside at the Asylum Centre in Obrenovac took part in the 36th Belgrade Marathon on 23 April 23.
This year, UNHCR also had a stage at the “Hyatt” hotel where children from the Music Art Project Music of Hope performed as well as DJ Duo who played music during the breaks between the main performances.
The race was a great sucess and the participants from our Centre successfully completed it.
