Commissioner Nataša Stanisavljević attended a meeting at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government

Today, a meeting was held in the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, attended by Minister Dr. Aleksandar Martinović, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Serbia (UNHCR) Soufiane Adjali and Commissioner for Refugees and Migration Nataša Stanisavljević.

Results of long-term successful cooperation on solving the so-called "legally invisible persons" and enabling the realization of the right to be registered in the birth register were discussed in the meerting.

Particular emphasis was on the importance of the problem of return of internally displaced and exiled citizens of the Republic of Serbia from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the threat to their security and non-respect of basic human rights.

Republic of Serbia and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration will continue to care for all vulnerable families who have left their homes with the aim of providing them with decent and permanent housing, as well as improving the quality of their lives.
