Commissioner Nataša Stanisavljević attended a meeting with representatives of the European Union Agency for Asylum
12.06.2023.Commissioner for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Stanisavljević attended a meeting with representatives of the European Union for Asylum (EUAA) located in Malta.
On that occasion she met with Mark Camilleri, Acting Head of Institutional and Horizontal Affairs Centre of the European Union Agency for Asylum.
During the meeting, they discussed the activities of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and priorities related to the management of Asylum Centres and reception conditions. The Commissioner expressed her thanks for the invitation to participate, an opportunity to exchange experiences with other European admissions authorities and colleagues from the European Union Agency and agree on the continuation of successful cooperation.
During the meeting, the representatives of the Agency highlighted their support to the Republic of Serbia in strengthening its legislation on asylum, establishing efficient procedures and building a strong reception system.
