Commissioner Nataša Stanisavljevic met with Czech Republic Ambassador Tomas Kuchta

Commissioner Nataša Stanisavljević met today with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomas Kuchta and the Czech delegation comprised Martin Abraham, Advisor and Czech Consul, Petr Doležal.

Successful cooperation between Commissariat and Czech Republic was discussed, and the delegation was presented with an overview of activities carried out and relating to the mutual Memorandum of Understanding.

The Commissioner thanked the Ambassador for the visit and pointed out that the Czech Republic is a long-term partner of the Commissariat in the field of strengthening the asylum and migration system, increasing accommodation capacity and improving the quality of accommodation in the transit-reception centres as well as aiding asylum seekers and migrants.

 It was agreed that the cooperation will continue in the future.
