Commissioner Nataša Stanisavljević visited the Reception Centre in Subotica

The Commissioner for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia Nataša Stanisavljević visited the Reception Centre in Subotica and spoke with the Centre’s employees about the ongoing work to improve the accommodation of Migrants.

Works on the improvement of electrical and communal infrastructure as well as the adaptation of accommodation facilities are underway. The reconstruction of the road to the Reception Centre has been completed thus far. Employees are also taken care of, in order to provide them with the best working conditions.

The Commissariat will continue to improve the reception system for people in need, respect for the law, protection of human rights as well as the protection of all our citizens and foreign nationals in cooperation with other State Departments, primarily Local Self-Government and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as Donors and other Partners.
