Decree on Issue of the Commemorative Postage Stamp “Roof 2023”

At the assembly of the Government of the Republic of Serbia held on 9 March 2023 a decree on issue of the commemorative postage stamp “Roof 2023” was adopted, the implementation of which would provide the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration with funds to finance purchase of up to 10 countryside households for families of refugees and internally displaced persons in Serbia.

“With aim of providing support and solving the housing needs of the most vulnerable families of refugees and internally displaced persons who reside in local Self-Government Districts which are unable to solve the problem of their permanent care in 2023, the Commissariat proposed issuing a commemorative postage stamp “Roof 2023”, from 27 March to 9 April 2023, at 10 RSD and distribution of 1,500,000. When sold in its entirety, a total amount of 15,000,000 RSD would be realized, from which purchase of up to 10 countryside households is planned” said Commissioner Nataša Stanisavljević.
