Elementary School
30.05.2018.Elementary school "Branko Pešić" in Zemun, attended by twenty-five migrant children from the Asylum Center in Krnjaca, celebrated the School Day under the slogan "Bridges – Hands That Connect People" and an appropriate program involving both local and migrant children.
The children participated in dancing and choir performances and impressed the audience with recitations and speeches on the theme of bridges.
The celebration of the School day was attended by Assistant Commissioner for Refugees and Migration Ivan Gerginov, Representative of UNHCR in Serbia Hans F. Schodder, Secretary for Education and Child Protection of the City of Belgrade Slavko Gak, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, UNICEF, SOS Foundation Children’s Village Serbia, Adra, Danish Refugee Council and others.
