Iraqi girl came second in a Sombor city race

22.10.2018. The seven-year-old girl from Iraq, Anurin Askar was very successful during a City Cross in Sombor last weekend. She came second and won a silver medal at the running competition held on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Despite rainy weather, little Anurin and her family along with the staff of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, and Anurin’s friends from elementary school "Avram Mrazic" felt great joy and pride. The Askar family is accomodated in the Reception Center for Migrants in Sombor.
