18.09.2019. Keys of 30 apartments in Golubinci (Stara Pazova municipality) and 20 apartments in Paracin for refugee families from Bosnia and Hercegovina and Croatia.

Keys of 30 apartments in Golubinci (Stara Pazova municipality) and 20 apartments in Paracin were officialy handed over today to refugee families from Bosnia and Hercegovina and Republic of Croatia, residing on the territory of these two municipalities. The apartments were built within the Regional Housing Program (RSP) in the Republic of Serbia.

Funding for the construction of these apartments is provided partialy by a donor Fund for the Regional Housing Program, managed by the Council of Europe Development Bank, while communal infrastructure and land is a contribution of local governments.

The event in Golubinci was attended by Ivica Dacic, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the Commission for Coordination of the Process of Permanent Integration of Refugees, Vladimir Cucić, Commissioner for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia, Djordje Radinovic, Mayor of Stara Pazova, Ingve Engstrom, Head of Sector for cooperation of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, Hans F. Shoder, Head of the UNHCR Representation and Acting UN Permanent Coordinator in Serbia, Bojan Stevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Government, Jane Knutrud, Chargé d'Affaires of the Norwegian Embassy, Dragan Katuca, Director of the Project Management Unit at public sector d.o.o. Belgrade, guests from the region, as well as representatives of other national and international institutions and organizations and users.
Minister Dacic thanked all partners in the Regional Housing Program for their perseverance and commitment.
"I deeply believe that with the assignment of keys begins a new chapter in the lives of all of you, and I truly want it to be colored by certainty, peace and progress," said Minister Dacic.

 
Commissioner Vladimir Cucić emphasized that the Program is being implemented at full pace, with housing solutions being awarded on a daily basis.

 
"To you who get the keys to the apartments, I want all your moves to be completed today and never to be forcibly moved again," said Commissioner Cucić, addressing the gathered customers.
Assigning keys to 20 apartments in Paracin was attended by Veljko Odalovic, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ivan Gerginov, Assistant Commissioner for Refugees and Migration, Sasa Paunovic, Mayor of Paracin, Stefan Hudolin, Representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, Ksenija Papazoglu, UNHCR Representative, Jadranka Masic Pavlovic, OEBs representative and others.
