Migrant Children and Primary School Pupils rejoice on the occasion of the School Patron Saint St. Sava

On the occasion of School Patron Saint St. Sava celebration, a get-together of primary school pupils with children of migrants at the Reception Centre in Šid was made possible in cooperation of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia and Primary School "Branko Radičević" in Šid.

To bring them joy, commemorative gift packs with toys and sweets were distributed to the children at this Reception Centre by Student Body members of "Branko Radičević" Primary School.

After the short recital migrant and third-grade pupils met in the gymnasium, an event which was made possible in cooperation with the non-governmental organization "Group 484", and the children took part in various sports activities with the aim of socializing and playing together, as well as celebrating the School Patron Saint St. Sava holiday.

This beautiful and humanitarian action shows that by working together we can create a better society which strives to help every child, and especially when it comes to children of migrants we will try to provide them with nicer and better living conditions while they stay in our country.

With our gesture today, we made them happy at least a little and put a smile back on their faces.
