Migrants and volonteers in a joint action to fix the school yard in Berkasovo

21.09.2018. In Berkasovo near Sid a school yard of the Sremski Front Primary School was reconstructed with the 70,000 euro donation by the European Union. Migrants from the Reception Center in Principovac, primary school students, their parents and employees of Public Utility Company "Standard" took part in the activity.

President of the Berkasovo Community Zoran Vidovic thanked the EU and the Municipality for having renovated the school with such a significant donation.

The Coordinator within the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration Dragan Velimirovic said that this is yet another action in the Municipality of Sid which is as important for all the children in Berkasovo, as it is a token of the cultural interaction.
