Numerous activities in the centers: donations for Ramadan in Tutin, migrants planted "seeds of wishes" in Vranje, children from the Reception Centre in Krnjača were examined at the Dental School Belgrade
29.04.2021.At the Asylum Center in Tutin, this year again the Turkish Agency for Coordination and Cooperation (TIKA) distributed packages to the center’s beneficiaries on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Officials of the Consulate of Turkey as well as local authorities attended the donation handover ceremony on April 22, 2021, and on behalf of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, Coordinator Mile Nestorović thanked for the donation.
An action called "Plant a seed and make a wish" was held at the Reception Center for Migrants in Vranje on April 28, 2021.
The migrants, together with members of the organizations present in this center, planted basil, dill, parsley, oregano, selenium and other herbs in pots made of plastic bottles, which they will later use in their diet.
The action was organized by IOM, with the support of the RS Commissariat for Refugees and Migration within the EU Support to Migration Management in Serbia.
On Thursday, April 29, 2021, as part of the project "Let's support a healthy smile", the second round of dental examinations for children staying at the Asylum Center in Krnjača was done at the Dental School in Belgrade. Sixteen children from the Asylum Center in Krnjača applied for the examination.
The children were examined by doctors and assistants Dr. Aleksandar Stojčetović, Dr. Tanja Ašanin, Dr. Snežana Blagojević, Dr. Marija Nikolić, nurse Slobodanka Kulina and Nurse Maja Gotić.
