SCRM invited to participate in Regex 18

12.10.2018. Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia is invited to participate in the international command and staff exercise "Regex 18" which will be held in the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) from October 15-19, 2018. Under the preparatory workshop for “Regex 18”, representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration presented the history and activities of SCRM to the international audience comprised of management of “Regex 18” and a dozen foreign officers and exercise participants.

Representatives of armed forces of 17 countries, as well as multiple international organizations of civil society will take part in the exercise. The Commissariat for Refugees and Migration will participate in this type of exercise for the second time, since it was already a part of „Viking 18“ in April this year.

The primary goal of the REGEX Initiative is the development of interoperability in the field of training and capabilities development for planning joint and combined exercises with the regional armed forces and the Partnership for Peace program.
