Subproject 9 of the Regional Housing Programme signed today in Belgrade

07.03.2019. Republic of Serbia and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) signed a donation agreement for subproject 9 of the Regional Housing Programme (RHP). The Agreement was signed by Jadranka Joksimovic, Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and Stefan Selen, Deputy Director General of CEB.

RHP Subproject 9 (SRB9) is worth a total of EUR 19.9 million and it will enable provision of 900 housing solutions, namely construction of 350 apartments, purchasisng of an additional 100 apartments, purchising of 200 village houses and allocation of 200 packages of building material.

With this additional agreement, the amount of donation defined for Serbia through the Regional Housing Programme amounts to a total of EUR 132 million. The money is intended for the housing care of more than 7,300 families by the end of 2021. So far, nearly 3,000 most vulnerable refugee families from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been provided permanent housing solutions through RHP in Serbia.
