The 13th Meeting of the Steering Committee and the 17th RHP Assembly of Donors held in Paris

27.11.2018. The 13th Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Regional Housing Programme (RHP) and the 17th meeting of the RHP Fund Assembly of Donors took place on 27 November 2018 at the CEB’s premises in Paris. The Meeting was attended by representatives of all four partner countries, the European Commission and other donors, representatives of international organizations and the Council of Europe Development Bank managing the RHP Fund.

It was pointed out that the Regional Housing Programme represents a great example of regional cooperation while its vast knowledge and experience may serve as a good model for addressing the issue of housing refugees in other regions, as well.

At the Meeting, Germany announced a contribution of an additional million and a half for the RHP Fund, which will increase its participation to nine million euros. European Union announced an additional 39.5 million euros bringing its total contribution to 234 million, while Spain also announced that it will continue to support the RHP and thus participate with more than 200,000 euros for the Technical Assistance.
