TIKA distributed Ramadan food packages in RC Subotica
29.05.2018.On the occasion of the month of Ramadan, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in cooperation with the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration organized a distribution of Ramadan food packages at the Reception Center in Subotica.
Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Çağla Gültekin Toşbat, together with the Assistant Mayor of Subotica for Education, Social and Health Protection Etela Jerinkic and representatives of the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, distributed sixty Ramadan packages of food and sweets intended for migrants accomodated at this center.
“We believe that the month of Ramadan is about sharing and helping, and even though our primary business is to provide economic assistance to the countries, we have decided to distribute food packages this time to those who need it most, "said TIKA Coordinator in Serbia.
